THE HEART OF AKUPARA

Care,
woven into life.

Supporting the whole person: body, emotions, thoughts, relationships and the search for meaning.

For us, care begins with listening. We want to create personalised journeys in which each person takes part in understanding their needs, choosing their goals and shaping how they move through the experience.

Integrated medicine, counselling and awareness practices meet within a living context: woodland, gardens, silence, mindful eating and community relationships. A stay offers time to meet professionals, slow down and try new habits, while respecting privacy and personal space.

The intention is to take home practical tools for continuing to care for oneself. Each proposal will be shaped with the person and the professionals involved, according to needs, expertise and availability.

01 / BODY

Health and listening to the body

Clinical expertise, physiatry, osteopathy and body practices meet in a journey centred on the person’s story and needs.

02 / RELATIONSHIPS

Emotions and relationships

Counselling, listening and empathic communication to explore needs, boundaries and ways of being with oneself and others.

03 / PRESENCE

Awareness and inner enquiry

Meditation, silence, introspection and expressive practices: opportunities to cultivate presence and one’s spiritual dimension.

04 / EVERYDAY LIFE

Nature and shared life

Time in the woodland and gardens, movement, rest and conviviality. Everyday village life is part of the experience, balancing connection and autonomy.

BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER

A journey shaped together.

  1. Listen and find direction

Get to know the person, their request and what they wish to explore. Assess together whether the setting and available expertise are suitable.

  2. Agree the journey

Define goals, duration, professionals, activities and conditions. Leave room for the person’s choice and autonomy.

  3. Live the experience

Combine the agreed meetings with time in nature, practices, rest and everyday village life, according to the chosen programme.

  4. Bring care back into everyday life

Reflect on the experience and identify tools and habits to cultivate. Any follow-up meetings will be agreed with the professionals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR · CARE COLLABORATORS

Bring your practice,
let’s build a network.

We are looking for professionals who wish to bring their practice to medicine and care in the broadest sense: health, listening, body, relationships, nutrition, awareness and the search for meaning.

We value dialogue between disciplines, clarity of roles and a willingness to design journeys together. It is possible to collaborate without becoming a village resident.

  • Doctors and healthcare professionals
  • Psychologists and psychotherapists, including for relationship and couples work
  • Nutrition professionals
  • Counsellors and relationship facilitators
  • Manual and bodywork practitioners
  • Teachers of meditation, movement, awareness and expressive practices

A proposal may be an individual service, workshop, retreat or periodic presence. Together we will assess participants, spaces, timing, responsibilities and financial agreements.
